SUBJECT: Installation Procedure for March 1993 Version of
Windows NT Using the 1.20H and 1.21L BIOS Pair

Prior to the installation, set the "32-bit Driver Mode" to the
"DISABLED" mode - Adaptec(r) Compatible Mode. This is required
because the Buslogic(r) driver has addition function calls that
are not currently supported in released BIOS.

Also, if your controller has 16 MB of memory and all the memory is
being used for caching, you may encounter a timeout problem ONLY
during the installation phase. Either reduce the amount of memory used for
caching (during the installation procedure only) to about 4 MB or disable the
"DELAYED_WRITE" option until the installation has completed.

The next release of the AMI SCSI Caching controller Local BIOS
will correct both of the above mentioned problems, and is scheduled for release
at the end of this month, April 1993.
